Monitor World
DR HOOK REQUIRES EIGHT (8) INDEPENDENT MONITOR MIXES
Board should be 24 by 8 or larger
Monitors should be 15” w/horn wedge
Drum monitor should be sub cabinet and 15” w/horn cabinet
Separate 32 band EQ for each monitor mix
Power amps equivalent to run each cabinet
Monitor World should be on stage Left
Dr Hook does not have monitor tech – one must be supplied at no charge
Club venues as close to stage left as possible

Lighting
Minimum of 40 par cans
20 Front lights blue and red ONLY
20 Back lights blue, red and white
2-4 moving lights (i.e. robo tech, scanner light)
Fog Machine capable of 5000 CFM output controlled by keyboard player
Dr Hook Does not have lighting tech
Club venue (with prior approval) may cut lighting in half

Stage
Should be at least 20’ deep 30’ long with top
(Except for club venues)
NO risers
2 stage hands available during show

Opening Acts
Must set up around headliner
Must have separate monitor mixes
May use Drum Kit and Bass Rig as long as there are minimal changes
1st opener plays 30 min
2nd opener plays 30 min
3rd opener plays 45 min
No opener plays longer than 45 min. (unless opener is a national act) and Dr Hook must at least have 30 min. between headliner and opener.
Once we do our sound check our mixes DO NOT change.
Please notify tour manager whether there is opener(s) or not prior to band’s arrival
